Identity Checks
Why we confirm your identity
Real players, real names, clean money. That is the deal.
Identity checks keep our casino fair and safe. They keep anyone under 19 off the floor, shut out fraud and stolen payment cards, and stop criminal money reaching our tables. We open accounts only where local law permits, and we follow Canadian requirements for age checks, identity checks and anti-money laundering. Verification is mandatory: every account completes it, and deposits stay locked until the first checks clear.
What do we check, and which documents do we ask for?
Who you are, how old you are, where you live and where you play.
When you join, you give us three things: your home address, your birth date and your full legal name. Trusted electronic data sources verify them, while geolocation confirms you're inside an area we serve. Usually, that's done. If something's missing, we ask for documents to close the gaps:
- Photo identification: an unexpired government-issued ID that shows your photo, your name and date of birth.
- Address confirmation: a bank statement, utility bill or official letter, issued recently, showing the same address as your account.
- Payment ownership: evidence that the card, bank account or wallet you use belongs to you, with sensitive numbers hidden.
Take sharp, full-colour photos showing the whole document, every corner visible. Edited, expired or unreadable files are rejected. The name on each document must exactly match your account name. Your files stay securely locked down and are handled as Your Privacy explains.
Do we check for political exposure and sanctions?
Yes. All accounts get screened, at sign-up and later on.
Every player is screened for politically exposed persons (PEPs): people who hold or once held a prominent public position, along with their family members and close associates. A PEP may still play here, though the account receives enhanced checks and closer monitoring. We also screen every player against official sanctions lists. Listed persons are not permitted an account, and any linked funds are dealt with as Canadian law requires.
What records do we keep, and who do we report to?
Records are kept and reports are made exactly as the law requires.
ID documents, verification results and transaction records stay on file for the full period required by Canadian anti-money laundering rules. These records prove our checks were done properly and help authorities trace suspicious activity.
If we suspect money laundering, terrorist financing or other financial crime, the law requires us to notify the relevant Canadian authorities. The law also bars us from telling the person concerned that a report has been filed or is under consideration. We cannot talk about this with any player, so please don't ask.
Will I still be checked after verification?
No. Monitoring continues while the account remains open.
Our systems watch account activity around the clock for patterns that do not fit, such as:
- Deposits followed by withdrawals with minimal play in between.
- Sudden jumps in deposit size or frequency.
- Several payment methods appearing in a short time.
- Logins from unexpected locations or shared devices across accounts.
If anything stands out, we may update your verification, ask for fresh documents or pause activity while we investigate. Running more than one account, or playing on someone else's behalf, breaches our Terms of Use.
Why do you need to know where my money comes from?
Bigger play brings bigger questions. That is standard practice, not suspicion.
A large deposit or a sudden shift in your play may prompt questions about where your playing money comes from. We can accept bank statements, payslips, tax documents, or proof of an inheritance, investment income or a property sale. The aim is plain: confirm the money is yours and lawfully sourced. These questions also help us spot anyone who may be playing beyond their means, tying directly into our Player Protection work.
What happens when a check cannot be completed?
No verification, no play. Clear and simple.
If you decline to send what we need, or the documents do not hold up, we will restrict your account. Depending on the case, that can mean:
- Until every check clears, deposits and cashouts stay frozen.
- Bonuses and winnings tied to the account are withheld while the matter is open.
- The account is closed where we find fraud, false documents or a sanctions match.
- We handle any funds as Canadian law directs, which can include reporting.
Most delays come down to blurry images or mismatched details. Fix those, send them back and you are usually back on the strip quickly.
How do I reach the verification team?
One address handles it all: [email protected]
Questions about documents, a verification update, or a request you're unsure about? Write to that address from the email linked to your account. Don't send documents any other way. Your password is something we will never request. Account rules sit in our Terms of Use, and Your Privacy explains how we store your data.
